What happens during a Moroccan bath?
You relax in steam for several minutes to soften the skin, then Moroccan black soap is applied and left to work. Your therapist exfoliates the whole body with a kessa glove, rinses, and finishes with a cleanse. Many guests add a short oil massage afterwards.
Is the Moroccan bath room private?
Yes. The hammam has its own dedicated room with a heated table and shower, used by one guest (or one couple) at a time.
How often should I have one?
Most guests come every two to four weeks. It is a deep exfoliation, so we don't recommend it more than once a week.
What should I bring?
Nothing — towels, disposable underwear and toiletries are provided. Avoid shaving or waxing on the same day, as freshly exfoliated skin can be sensitive.
